What Happened To The Lightning?
And Other One-Act Plays
An anthology of five one-act plays, including:
What Happened To The Lightning? An embittered, blind war vet falls in love with his apartment’s African-American maid in the segregated South. Winner of TETA PlayFest 2003.
Clarence. An amnesiac in a hospital forms an attachment with a teddy bear named Clarence as a doctor and nurse work to unravel the mystery of who he is.
Play Your Part. A high school theater teacher struggles to motivate his students for their upcoming one-act play contest. A play within a play of sorts. Unless that’s too meta for you.
Danny. A young woman with an aversion for boys relives episodes of her life centered upon the boy next door, Danny. A romantic comedy, if that’s your sort of thing.
The Day Milly Died. A group of estranged friends gather for the final hours of their mentor, forcing them to finally confront the issues that have driven them apart. Winner of TETA PlayFest 2002.
