Sierra Leone 16

Well, it only took me forever and a day (give or take), but I’ve finally finished a video put together from footage I shot during my mission trip to Sierra Leone last year with the 25 Project. It’s hard to put a trip like this into words, so I thought images would be better. As far as words go, though, our team worked with former street kids at the Waterloo Center and kids living at Margaret’s Home orphanage.

As I looked back on these images, I was overcome with gratitude again for those who gave so that I could go last year, and grateful to my wife for letting me go. There were aspects of the trip that were difficult, trying, and eye-opening, but I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Since I’m too cheap to pay WordPress to upgrade my account to post videos directly, here’s the youtube link.
